Nursing From The Heart teamed up with the West Georgia Breastfeeding Task Force and brought together friends, family, and the community to join The Global BIG Latch On—a celebration to help protect, promote and support breastfeeding in west Georgia area and around the world. World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated the first week of August in 120 countries and marks the signing of the WHO/UNICEF document Innocenti Declaration, which lists the benefits of breastfeeding, plus global and governmental goals.
