A new, dual-branded hotel is soon to be under construction in Newnan. Developers will begin working on a Sleep Inn / Main Stay Suites which will be located at 3 Amlajack Boulevard, directly behind RaceTrac.
Demolition on an existing building at the site is set to begin on June 26. The 35,000-square-foot hotel is being developed by Riverside Developments, LLC, based in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
According to plans obtained by The Newnan Menu, the hotel is planned to be a four-story building with 60 units. The project’s total cost is estimated at $3.2 million and will include completely new underground utilities and grading.
Developers hope to complete the project by June of 2018.
