Recently rumors had surfaced in the Newnan area that a popular eatery was looking to place a location in the city. Smashburger, a famous upscale burger restaurant with 4 locations in the Atlanta area, informed the Newnan Menu that while a franchisee owns the territory, there is nothing in the pipeline to put a location in Newnan at this time.
