The Carrollton Parks and Recreation Department will host its next Youth Fishing Tournament, July 17, 9:00-11:00 a.m., at the Lake Carroll docks. The CPRD and the Georgia DNR added more than 100,000 fish to the lake earlier this year. Competitors, ages 6-15, can register for free at carrolltonparksandrec.com or (770) 832-1161 and are responsible for their own pole and bait. Trophies will be awarded.
