Rezoning has been requested for the proposed construction of a new subdivision behind Maple Street Commons in Carrollton. A rezoning request was submitted to the City recently for a 20-acre tract of land that is currently zoned ER-3 (Estate Residential 3 Acres) and is requested to be zoned R-10 (Single Family Residential 10,000 square feet).
A Planning commission hearing is scheduled for October 10. The City Council will hold an additional public hearing regarding the rezoning on November 6.
