(Carrollton, Ga. – March 13, 2015) Fred Tucker, a 6grade science teacher at Bay Springs Middle School, has received the Annice Whatley Award for Excellence in Middle School science instruction. The award is given annually by the University of West Georgia. The award includes recognition at a UWG ceremony and a scholarship award.
